Making room in the shopping bag.
We're making room in our Wednesday shopping bag for the English adaptation of Sky Doll!
C. B. Cebulski (Loners, Aspen Showcase: Aspen Matthews #1) wrote the English adaptation for this French comic that I first saw in Mark Roslan's collection. My favorite is the third book, but I'll be looking forward to them all!

wow...thats pretty cool like the grittiness
Is that a real sketch? Are you practicing for SDCC? :)
The bad news is that the color/shading was done in Photoshop.
The good news is that I've been buying markers to do this in San Diego. The splatter in the background might be hard to pull off out in the wild, though.
Yeah I picked up the little few page Marvel preview they had of it.
It looks really amazing.
Sky doll is soooo good. It just looks amazing. But, it is soooo mature.
Hi Jester - Yeah, it's definitely 'R' rated. I really like the look of it, though - the 3rd book in particular.
Dave - Did you end up getting the full issue?
It was interesting to see how much I understood, or didn't, from staring at the French version.
I got issue 1 just the other day.
It was fantastic.
Not only looking, but the story was really intriguing too.
I can't wait for the rest of the translated issues to come out.
Great stuff, Beth!Sky Doll was great.
Ah! My fellow English speaking commenter from Barbara Canepa's blog.
I hope they make us a box set as nice as that gray and orange one I saw.
Mmmm...D'you think they'd that nice to us?
I was SO PISSED I couldn't get Sky Doll. Every store in Phoenix was sold out by Friday. I was bummed, I hope it's not still visible. LOL
